KriyaKalpa (Techno-Cultural Museum)
A Novel Technology Museum
As you enter the campus straight ahead, you find “KRIYAKALPA”, the museum that depicts the history of engineering technology, arts and image of rural India. The displays include agricultural implements, Domestic articles, materials pertaining to learning, materials like Charaka (Spinning Wheel) and Paintings of the time of great painter Ravivarma. On display are games play material of rural areas, old coins, sources relating to music.
The “Janapada Yakshagana Academy Award” was awarded by the Department of Kannada & Culture, Government of Karnataka in the year 2000 in recognition of its depiction of hidden culture and art of yester years through ‘Janapada’. The Museum has succeeded in blending together the past and the present technology; thousands of inland and foreign visitors, scientists, Researchers and thinkers are paying a visit to this center.


The Museum also depicts the achievements in cultural activities by the students of RVCE.
